Overview

This summer we are hosting a range of free activities for children and young people aged  0 - 16 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities so we can hear about the things that matter most to you.

These events are being run by our Participation and Engagement Officer (SEND), Gemma D'Ambrosie.

All activities are led by an experienced professional.

Whilst the children and young people are participating in these activities, parents and carers are invited to share their experiences and help make positive changes for families in the borough.

Who can take part

To take part in the summer activites you must:

  • have parental responsibility for the child/young person participating in the activities
  • live in South Tyneside
  • be able to stay on site

You will need to arrange transport to and from the activities.

We want as many families as possible to have an opportunity to get involved so spaces are limited to one activity per family.
