South Tyneside's Ordinarily Available Provision Guide
About this publication
This guide defines the expected high quality provision to be available within all settings across the local area, ensuring inclusive practice that supports our children and young people to learn, grow and achieve.
It is not intended that every element of this guidance will be required for every child, it provides a range of strategies and interventions that schools / settings can use flexibly.
Above all, settings should work collaboratively with children and young people, their families, and other practitioners to identify approaches and strategies that work best for them.
This guide has been produced in partnership with parents / carers, Special Educational Network Co-ordinators (SENCOs), and other education, health, and care partners, through a range of engagement methods.
