Overview

A local support group for families of children and young people who have ADHD, or are currently being assessed for it.

The group aims to help parents to support their children, by offering advice, signposting to any relevant services and sharing experiences.

Their creche workers have lots of experience working with children who have SEND needs.


Support available

They offer fortnightly meetings for parents, running alongside a creche for the children aged 4 to 16.

The group also organises monthly family activities and outings to include the wider family members, and arrange relevant speakers and / or training.


Who can access the service

To access the service, the child or young person must have been diagnosed with ADHD, or be getting assessed.

To attend the creche, they should be aged between 4 and 16 years old.

There is no age limit to attend the monthly activities and outings.


How to access the service

There is no formal route to access the group.

Parents / carers are asked to register to access everything the group offers.
