Overview

A charity supporting people with spina bifida, hydrocephalus and related conditions.

The service supports adults, children, parents and professionals of all ages.


Support available

Children and young people who use the service often have SEND requirements.

The team can provide advice / guidance to make sure the school they attend offers them the best possible support. 


Who can access the service

People of all ages that have one, or a combination of the following conditions:

  • Spina bifida
  • Hydrocephalus
  • Spina bifida ccculta
  • Normal pressure hydrocephalus
  • Idiopathic intracranial hypertension
  • Chiari 2 malformation
  • Anencephaly
  • Encephalocele
  • Dandy walker syndrome
  • Tethered cord

How to access the service

Anyone can make a referral, providing the person being referred has given their consent.
