Who can access the service
Families in the North East of England, who have a child or children with any form of disability and / or additional needs are welcome.
This includes siblings, parents, carers, grandparents etc.
The children do not need a formal diagnosis to attend, however there do need to be some concerns around emotional, physical development, behavioural challenges, and / or academic performance to one or more of the children.
How to access the service
You do not need to be referred to the service.
We advise families to attend on a Saturday between 12 midday and 4pm, to have a look around, chat and play.
If the group feels appropriate and useful to their family, they can then complete the membership registration.
