Uncommon offer online sessions for ADHD and autistic young people (as well as their parents) who experience school phobia or emotionally based school avoidance.
Their fun affordable online classes, clubs and livestreams help neurodivergent teens make friends, meet role models, get creative and feel confident.
Services available
The sessions will give young people the opportunity to:
- connect with others who understand and share their struggles
- understand the unique challenges they face as neurodivergent people
They also run webinars for parents with advice on how to support neurodivergent young people at home.
All sessions are run by facilitators who are neurodivergent and also struggled at school.
The courses are:
- Session one: Rebuilding confidence
- Session two: Understanding and Managing Stress and Anxiety
- Session three: Navigating Friendships
Support for People with SEND
Our sessions are designed by a team of neurodivergent mental health experts, service designers and educators.
All sessions are fully adapted to work for neurodivergent young people, including being in a low demand environment.
Young people can take part however they would like to, camera on or off, and they can choose their own level of interaction (including just watching).
Closed captions can be enabled and participants can ask questions anonymously.

Their sessions are currently available for people aged 11 to 14.
No formal diagnosis is required to attend. These sessions are open to any who identifies as autistic or adhd or believes they might be.
