SEND Assessment and Review Team
The SEND Assessment and Review Team is responsible for the statutory (legal) processes for children and young people with SEND.
This includes Education Health and Care Needs assessment, plans and annual reviews.
The team co-ordinates admissions of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans into schools / settings.
It also manages top-up funding for children and young people on SEND Support.
The team will work with you on:
- Education, Health and Care needs assessment requests
- Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
- Annual Reviews for EHCPs
- Admissions to school and placements
The team also helps to:
- Collect and distribute information from different agencies during the need's assessment process
- Arrange planning meetings
- Send Annual Review reminders to schools / settings
- Co-ordinate the SEND panels
- Deal with SEND tribunal cases
